My stay at Riad La Porte Rouge was quite enjoyable overall. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the rooftop terrace was a lovely spot to relax. However, the location was a bit challenging, as it wasn't always easy to find, and some aspects of the service could be improved, especially regarding communication and payment options.

The room was big and well-decorated, plus the bathroom was spacious. I really appreciated having air conditioning, and the view from the room was nice too.
Service

The staff were mostly helpful and friendly, but there were some language barriers and a few frustrating moments regarding payment methods.

The Riad is located about a 15-minute walk from the main square, which can feel tiring after multiple trips back and forth. It's in a neighborhood that's not super pleasant, making it a bit tricky to navigate.

I highly recommend dining at the Riad; the food was very nice! The traditional dinner, especially the tagine, was the best I had in Morocco.

I enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the jacuzzi, though it could have been cleaner and had better maintenance. I appreciated the options for arranging excursions through the Riad.

Riad La Porte Rouge is truly a beautiful oasis, with stunning Moroccan decor and a calming atmosphere. I felt like I was coming home every evening. The staff was incredibly helpful, but the location in a less pleasant neighborhood had its downsides. while it’s just a short walk to the main attractions, the journey through polluted streets could be overwhelming at times.

I had an enjoyable stay at Riad La Porte Rouge, with its beautiful interior design and lovely staff. The rooftop jacuzzi was a nice touch, especially after a long flight. However, the location can be quite challenging due to pollution and crowded streets, making walking a bit uncomfortable at times.

Rooms

The room was nicely decorated, but I found the beds to be quite hard, which is common in many riads. Additionally, the bathroom lacked complete privacy as the wall didn't extend up to the ceiling.

The service was fantastic, with the staff always ready to help with recommendations and making arrangements. Mustafa, in particular, was really good and treated me like family.
Location

Located in the old city, the area had its drawbacks, notably pollution and narrow, busy streets. While I appreciated the proximity to attractions, the journey there was often stressful due to traffic.

The riad had several appealing facilities, including a lovely rooftop area and a jacuzzi. However, I experienced some issues during my stay, like the jacuzzi not being warm enough.

My stay at Riad La Porte Rouge was quite nice. I appreciated the charming atmosphere and attentive staff, but the location posed some challenges. The rooftop jacuzzi was a wonderful perk for relaxing after a long day, though the cold nights made it less appealing to spend time outside. Overall, it was a lovely experience, albeit with some room for improvement.

However, the location in the old town was a downside due to pollution and chaotic streets that made exploring a bit stressful. Overall, it was a comfortable retreat, but the surrounding environment had its challenges.
